Our
Mission Statement
We
believe...
As a pediatric dental office, we recognize that we have a unique opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life. It is a privilege that we do not take lightly and therefore we are committed in providing the most skilled and comprehensive dental care for infants, children, adolescents and special needs patients. We strive to accomplish this through sincere, warm and caring attitude, clear communication and clinical excellence.
We believe that each child is unique. Therefore treatment options are customized based on the patient’s age,
behavior, personality and previous dental experience. Our patient’s emotional and physical well-being is our number one priority so we will strive each day to make their visits safe and positive as well as fun. We will help your child through anxiety with genuine compassion, gentleness and sensitivity to your child’s specific needs.
You and your child are vital members of our team. Your participation in your child’s oral health is strongly encouraged as well as sharing your questions and concerns with us. We know that we have your unspoken trust in us to be “the best we can be” and with that expectation we will strive to fulfill. We understand that communication is vital to a good professional relationship so we will be clear in our communication regarding treatment, finances and education.
We will create an environment that is child and parent friendly, encourages affection, promotes health and continued long time relationship with your family. Our facility will be clean and orderly, and our staff will be skillful in their job. We want you and your child to feel positive, safe and trusting coming to our office.
We will continue to enhance our own personal development through continuing education and team building to achieve a practice culture of enthusiasm, harmony and respect.
We understand that our mission could only be accomplished with the right attitude and commitment in putting the needs of the children first. It is therefore our pledge that we will always try to pursue excellence in caring for your child.

– Schedule Coordinator
I have worked for Dr. Maria
for 11 years. My family is from Mexico, and I often hear
greetings of those who walk in the door in Spanish. If
you ask our long time patients they will say that I am
an irreplaceable fixture in the office. Although I have
a degree in international business, I enjoy our patients
and parents so much I can’t imagine working anywhere
else. I love spending time with my family and watching
my daughter, Nathaly, grow up.

I have been a registered
dental assistant since 2008, and currently returning to
school to further my education in becoming a Dentist. I
love to learn and adore being around my new found family
here with Dr. Maria. I am originally from a small town
in southern California where my family lives. I love to
visit new places and try new things. In my spare time, I
like reading short stories and novels, watching movies
with my sister and her husband, and dancing with my
friends and family.

I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1998 but working in Pediatric Dentistry for 8+ yrs. I just love creating a bond between my patient and their family member. My philosophy is patient is always first and everything revolves around them. It's just been a blessing that I finally found my new found family with Dr. Maria. Personally I am a huge Golden State Warriors fan and San Francisco Giants/49'er fan so basically you can ask me anything about those team. On my spare time I like to play basketball and ride road bikes with my buddies. I also like spending time with my family especially watching my 2 kids grow up.
Amber Hawarth, – – Registered Dental Assistant
I earned my RDA license in 2009 and have been in
pediatric dentistry for almost 5 years. I love working
with children- their innocence, laughter and smiles make
my job extremely enjoyable. I made the realization my
potential in life is to work with & help children when I
became a swim instructor at 16 yrs old. The bond made
with children & the positive influence I am able to have
makes for a very rewarding end of the day. In fact, I
still coach & teach on weekends!
I also love to read, spend time with my chi-weenie, "Mola,"
hike, & bake!
